my immune system hacks as someone who used to get sick all the freaking time
here’s what i’m covering in today’s letter in case you’re short on time :)

i don’t wanna jinx myself but i am writing to you having successfully (pretty sure at least) dodged a weird cold despite many direct coughs to the face recently, which has been harder for me to master in recent years. i am my own client in all ways with food and take really good care in general (minus sleep, transparently, i don’t get enough consistently, but i think that is true for many moms slash people working extremely hard at something [not to glamorize hustle culture at all, i loveee rest too and relish in it]). anyways, last year and the year before i got sick more than i should have, and not just regular colds but like brutal deep lung colds where i’d cough so much i’d lose my voice, and so i doubled down extra hard at the top of 2025 during the fires here in LA on all things immunity to protect my lungs and it’s been paying off. i have been able to fight things off i hadn’t been, and clearing things quicker without them escalating. blessssss!
