today’s guest is training guru kirsty godso! we met last year while we were both presenting at a retreat in mexico, she is wildly beloved and trains many of the ladies we know and love :) today she shares:

- the 3 foundational exercises she recs for women
- her honestly brilliant 10 min hotel room workout hack
- the breakfast she has on repeat
- a playlist that just makes you want to f up some weights
- the tools and practices that she uses to regulate her nervous system
- her ride or die magnesium supplement

Kirsty!! How would you describe what you do?

My work revolves around helping people transform their relationship with their bodies and minds. Whether I'm training private clients, working as a Global Trainer with Nike, running my online fitness platform Pyro, or developing products through my protein company Made Of, everything I do focuses on empowering people through movement and wellness.

As a practitioner (and I believe like many practitioners and teachers) the foundation of my most powerful work originated from my own need to understand and solve my own problems. Curious if that resonates at all, and regardless, the origins of Pyro? :)

Absolutely! When I started my fitness career at 22 it was with the desire of creating something I wished existed. Fitness at the time was completely different to today. I wanted to change the entire experience - the feel, the look, the language, the energy and landscape around it. Pyro came about in 2017 as a class in New York and has expanded into not only my online fitness platform but also a way I collaborate with some of my favorite trainers in the industry. There was a long time that I regretted not having been able to start it earlier due to other work contracts, but now I know it came at the exact right time with the additional years of experience and clarity on what I personally wanted to find in a workout platform.

If you could only do three training exercises, which would you choose? Which movements do you find the most foundational for women’s bodies?
