mindset reset:
i just want to start by saying that i have never and will never use this platform or any platform of mine to scare people or make people feel terrible for being human. i come with love and care and also, i’m a long-time health practitioner (and practicer!!) andddd i also get botox and bleach my hair and not everything i do is for health.
that being said, i also wanted to have an honest and cozy chat about alcohol, how it comes up in my practice, esp for specific clients with specific goals, how i approach alcohol personally, and my tips given all the info.
ok great, glad we got that out of the way :) :)
for the record and for reference, there was definitely a time when i did indeed drink alc. and to be fair, oliver could vouch that i’d conjure this energy today in my kitchen at 10a totally sober. pics or it didn’t happen…
for as long as i’ve been old enough to be aware of health media (a long time), the powers that be have suggested that moderate alcohol intake wasn’t only ok, it was bueno!! it was protective!! but science tells a much diff story (ya, even red wine, more on that later), and earlier this year the medical community was willing to be a lot less vague about the impact of alcohol in any amount, and that makes a lot more sense to me intuitively…
here’s the breakdown i give my clients and my friends. again it’s absolutely 1 million percent not intended to spook in any way. It’s just a good time to take inventory (september should really be the beginning of the calendar year) and i hope you find it’s helpful :)
