sometimes i look preg
on bad pictures, integrating all our selves (even the ones we aren’t obsessed with), how to take better pics, and how to feel our best when we’re not feeling our best
here’s what i’m covering in today’s letter in case you’re short on time :)
- bad photos happen…how to integrate the versions of ourselves we aren’t obsessed with
- how to take more flattering photos (yes we deserve it) including the iphone photo hack that never serves me wrong
- recipes i’m making on repeat
- how to feel our best when we’re not feeling our best
- the most flattering fits for when we want things a little looser
mindset reset:
hi i’m shira, i help people feel really good in their bodies for a living and sometimes i look pregnant.
i’m not looking for sympathy or fishing for compliments…i take good care and generally feel pretty good depending on where i’m at in my cycle. but sometimes i do in fact look pregnant and there are plenty of pics to back that up.
i think this is a worthwhile convo to have because we have more access to images of ourselves than ever before and they aren’t all one’s we love and it’s helpful to have an approach for:
how to navigate our relationship with ourselves when presented with photos that we don’t love
ways to pose and get better pics (ur girl did a bunch of research for the team) that rly flatter bc we deserve it
tools for navigating times when we aren’t feeling as comfy in our bodies
this newsletter is a cozy but actionable amalgamation of things that come up for me personally that also come up a bunch in my private practice bc it means it’s prob coming up for my internet friends too so let’s get into all of it… :)
