hi hello. i cannot tell you how grateful i am for you.

picking out something super special for someone that makes them feel soooo seen and loved and cared for (or die of laughter) is one of my favorite feelings. the 2025 even better gift guide (her first 🥹) was made with sooo much love n care. if you know me, you know i don’t make recs that i don’t love deeply and use aggressively and buy myself (or have on my own wishlist!) and they are all in here. the list spans the feel good meets very nice to receive gamut, from the most important cookbooks in my arsenal (ones i cook through and draw inspo from), my desert island kitchen tools, deep cut vintage rugbys, and providers i find a++++ for virtual sessions for leveling up. there’s so much in here and some friends generously extended EB perks, but it’s completely non spon, just the very best of the best as you deserve. whether you are looking for special people on your list or to treat yourself, i got youuuu!!

there are also two outrageously gorg recipes below and the client meal inspo as always :)

enjoyyyyyy!!

JOY/PLAY

audrey hobert concert tix: she’s coming to LA in december and i just know it’s gonna be life changing. convinced seeing thirst trap live would heal me.

screen free digital camera: played around with one of these on a camping trip for oliver’s class a couple months ago and it is so cool and sweet to have digital pictures afterwards, but because there is no screen it helps you stay in the moment more while the pics are being taken.

stamp kit: we love a creative practice around here for downregulating our nervous systems. this one is so cute and analog and every time i join oliver in crafts my brain thanks me for it.

speshy marker set: speaking of, this feels like an extra special set to gift someone who’s looking to downregulate via doodling…also just do yourself a favor and browse this whole site, it instantly puts me at ease. i feel passionately that someone on someone’s list somewhere needs this tape, perhaps for a mood board for future self signalling?!?!?!

stakt weights: for your pilates obsessed sister?! or oneself?! kind of genius way to not have a million weights sitting around! i just gave a detailed breakdown of my workout routine and these for a home workout would be a big slay.

elevated rummi set: i love this game sm i play with oliver, ian and my whole fam, it’s one of my favorite ways to unwind (and talk $%#^ in a loving way lol) this one is outrageously nice but this one is also so chic and slightly less outrageous in price tag. separately, i’m not a backgammon gal, but this board is so beyond cool it makes me want to learn!

playing cards: oliver and i play a lotttt of cards, i often have a set on me wherever i go and i find this card holder very exciting and father figure (this one tooooo)!! also if you read my essay in spread the jelly you know my table can pile up with kid debris so this is a nice place for cards to live. but oddly for less than the first holder you could in theory completely ball out with these cards (oliver and i would ruin them in a week, so def not us but maybe someone’s mega hot dad needs them?)

FOOD

Something from Nothing by

Alison Roman
: out tomorrow!!!! we lovee AR on even better. sign me up for the spicy vinegar chicken big yes!

josh pond: this farm in maine is so darn cute they have wild organic hand harvested blueberries and unreal cheeses and it’s suchhhh a chic IYKYK gift. also a big fan of this v nice apple cider vin as a lower key gift that still very much gets the memo across (they extended SHIRA10 for EB readers through 12/31).

Riviera: Recipes from the Coast of France and Italy: this is a preorder sitch (releases in april) but maybe it’s a gift for yourself?? i’m just excited about it bc

Melanie Masarin
is the queen of non alc bev (read about why i am sober 4 my cells) and my ears really perk up when i hear simple French and Italian recipes passed down by her grandma. international grandma cooking is the tippity top cream of the crop for me so that’s also a big yes.
